MMS is a Chinese community for avid golfers in Middlesex, Mercer and Somerset counties in Central New Jersey. Established in 2015, MMS has evolved from a handful of members to over 50 players with HCP ranging from single digits to 20+. Managed by volunteers, MMS organizes weekly group competitions year around including freezing winter and scorching summer days. Participants are randomly assigned to two opposing teams of roughly equal HCP by an algorithm according to their most recent 10 on course performances. A small prize is waged to encourage competition and have fun, sometimes joy extends to the 19th hole. In addition, MMS organizes Sino Star Cup, an annual event participated in by broader Chinese golf communities in New Jersey. In August 2022, over 80 truly dedicated players competed in the Sino Star Cup on a beautiful sunny day, with a huge success marked the history of the tournaments.
MMS welcomes new members at all HCP levels. The goal is to create a fun yet competitive environment so all can enjoy a happy golf life!
